Innocent World “Rococo Styled Corset” JSK in grey
Dreamdress is here ! It was so cheap at Closet Child considering this JSK in this colorway sold out in a flash at reservation, because it’s missing its two little bows, but I wouldn’t have worn them anyway so it’s all good for me !
On Tuesday it was a lovely day so we went on a day trip to Phillip Island and to a few of the places there.
This is a still from one of the videos we took while there - it looks like I’m walking down about to be eaten up by the sea. It’s actually just the path from the bird/lighthouse track down to the surf beach. I have many more photos of the island to share too, and some video!
No-spend-February finished so I got my hair cut and went shopping at Ikea! Here are the cuter things I got on my wander:
Vandring owl hooks. $5.99. I thought these were owl-dorable and they give guests somewhere to hang their clothes if they stay in our spare room.
Regolit paper lightshade. $6.99. The classic ikea paper lantern. Originally to go into our bedroom, I’ve now hung it in the spare room where it really brightens up the small room.
Ramsta LED light. $2.99. I love these touch lights! They have a sticky back and are battery powered so they can go anywhere. I have one in our walk in pantry and I’ve put this one in our big linen closet.
Tindra scented candles $2.49. The pink is a light rosey floral and the brown is apple and cinnamon, which I have burning now. Lovely for autumn!
Korken medium jar $2.99. I have been looking for a sealed jar and was surprised to see Ikea had a whole range. I plan on putting my homemade blackberry jam in this.
I also got some shelving for my gardening supplies and a new drill :)
Metamorphose’s new “wheel of time” or “time lag” in the drop waist JSK.
This JSK is really pretty with the slight sweetheart neckline, the corset stlye “drop waist” (so different from what you see on other brands’ sallopettes) and what I think is a gold print.
It also comes in blue and olive. To be released in April.
This evening we saw that the new udon noodle place had opened so we tried it out.
It was really good! I had poached egg and lime udon with tempura sweet potato and squid.

After I finish my current two sewing projects I want to try to sew something like the dress in the second picture. Sort of like a long sleeved gathered smock?
I can just imagine how tiny these AP dresses are, if they’re so small on the model. D: They also look to take after Misty Sky’s cut, which is very small. Much better to make my own in a cute autumn fabric!
Shopping in Ikea after getting my haircut.
I really like the cut, it’s elegant. The colour however went a bit weird, it’s lighter at the roots than at the ends, and the hairdresser will be fixing it.
I’ll post a “what I got” from Ikea post later tonight :)
I just made myself a fleece cover for my desk chair for the winter. It’s so cosy! The top part is white with owls and the bottom part is pink dots.
I couldn’t find any pins so it’s a little wonky, so I don’t think I’ll take a photo. But it’s very comfortable to sit on!
Lolita outing today!
We went to a multicultural festival in the suburbs then had a high tea with a lot of sweet things for lunch. We tried to take some street style type photos, and found Melbourne had put up an edible garden. I was wearing Dear Celine’s springfield with pink and brown accessories.
